About

About the Goliad Paddling Trail & Flotilla

The Goliad Paddling Trail is a scenic stretch of the San Antonio River, offering a peaceful and beautiful paddling experience. Twice a year, Canoe Trail Goliad, Inc. hosts the Goliad Flotilla, a community event that brings paddlers together to enjoy the river while promoting conservation and responsible public access.

For over 25 years, the flotilla has welcomed paddlers of all skill levels to explore the river’s natural beauty and rich history. With the help of volunteers, the San Antonio River Authority (SARA), and Texas Parks & Wildlife (TPWD), we’ve improved access points and worked to protect the river’s ecosystem.
